(Boise) The Idaho Beer & Wine Distributors Association (IBWDA) campaign has awarded first place in its statewide video contest to a Rexburg student and her teammates. The winning video is featured on the website for viewing and is also featured in ad advertising campaign on statewide television stations. The public can view all of the videos submitted and vote for their favorites by visiting

The video contest is a statewide effort to encourage Idaho teens to choose not to drink underage. The ongoing video production campaign is open to all Idaho students grades K-12, asking them to create their own video with the anti-underage drinking theme and showcasing their reasons to choose not to drink underage and instead focus on obtaining personal goals such as excellence in academics and athletics. Phase 2 is now underway.

The website features student interviews and radio and TV announcements highlighting their reason to choose not to drink while underage. will also have information and resources for parents and students. Individuals or teams may enter and students upload their video on the website and vote on their favorite videos.

Prize categories for winning videos include an IPad, IPod, flip cams and t-shirts to name a few. Contest rules, entry and public voting are featured on the website at
